The Churubusco Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Churubusco are pleased to announce the 5th Annual ‘Busco Block Party featuring a free performance by local artist, Alyssa Enright; a petting zoo provided by Mark’s Ark; and Biff & the Cruisers headlining the show! This year, we are excited to be partnering with the Churubusco Public Library as they hold their annual Fine Arts Festival on the 100 Block of Line Street, making Saturday August 18th a day full of fun and entertainment in downtown ‘Busco!

This free, all ages event will begin with the Fine Arts Festival starting at noon. Jen and the Foggy Creek Band will be performing live during the Festival beginning at 1:00 and the Urban Station food truck will be on location at noon in case visitors get hungry! The Block Party will begin at 4:00 in the PNC parking lot located at 102 N. Line St., Churubusco. Alyssa Enright will be taking the stage around 4:15 and the Mark’s Ark petting zoo will also begin in the OMI Orthodontics tent around that time until 5:30. That’s when Biff & the Cruisers will be taking the Fleis & VandenBrink stage and rocking until 8 p.m.! As in previous years, vendors and merchants will be selling concessions and giving away prizes. A variety of food will be showcased at this year’s party including ice cream, brats, coney dogs, walking tacos, BBQ, pizza, and more! The Town of Churubusco will also be selling their famous “Straight Outta Busco” t-shirts with proceeds benefitting Oscar’s Playland!.
