Meeting Minutes- May 23, 2013
The Churubusco Town Council met on May 23, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall for a special meeting. Members present were President, Frank Kessler and Council Members, Mark Pepple and Alan Malcolm along with Clerk-Treasurer, Madalyn Sade-Bartl. Also in attendance was Scott Smith from Whitley Environmental; Churubusco News editor, Dave Crabill; and Post & Mail editor, Christie Barkley.
Council President Frank Kessler called the meeting to order and welcomed visitors. He explained that while the meeting was a special meeting, motions could be made and votes could be taken. Roll was called by the Clerk. All Council Members were present.
Old Business:
President Kessler asked the Council if they had an opportunity to look over the spreadsheet (attached) he had created summarizing the proposals from the competing refuse companies. The Council discussed every option and decided to table a decision until the June 5th meeting.
Ms. Sade-Bartl gave the Council a copy of the Employee Policy Manual. She asked for the Council to review it and let her know if there were any problems with the manual so the document could be adopted at a future meeting.
Having no other business and after all proper papers were signed, President Kessler adjourned the meeting.
