RESOLUTION 2021-02
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN FUNDS
WHEREAS, The Rainy Day Fund Ordinance 2001-06 was established by Town Council pursuant to the provision of Indiana Code 36-1-8-5; and,
WHEREAS, in any fiscal year, not more than ten percent (10%) of the Town’s total budget for that fiscal year may be transferred by the Town Council to the Rainy Day Fund.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Churubusco, Indiana (“Town Council”) has previously enacted Ordinance Number 4-1975; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council and Clerk-Treasurer recommend funds be transferred from utility operating funds into the utility depreciation & improvement funds and correct clerical errors made in certain payroll clearing funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Churubusco of Churubusco, Indiana hereby authorizes the Clerk-Treasurer to transfer of the following funds as followed, effective December 31, 2020:
From: General Fund $ 25,000.00
Total General Fund transferred from: $ 25,000.00
To: Rainy Day Fund $ 25,000.00
Total Rainy Day Fund transferred to: $ 25,000.00
From: Water Operating Fund $ 75,000.00
Total Water Operating Fund transferred from: $ 75,000.00
To: Water Depreciation Fund $ 75,000.00
Total Water Depreciation Fund transferred to: $ 75,000.00
From: Payroll Health Insurance 125 $ 282.17
Total Payroll Health Insurance Fund transferred from: $ 282.17
To: Payroll AFLAC Optional Pre-Tax $ 201.45
Total Payroll AFLAC Optional Pre-Tax Fund transferred to: $ 201.45
To: Payroll AFLAC Optional Post-Tax $ 80.72
