Notice of Public Hearing
Town of Churubusco
Pursuant to Ind. Code 5-3-1, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Churubusco, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 6:00 PM local time on December 7th, at the Scout Building, 501 N. John Krieger Drive, Churubusco, IN 46723. The purpose of the hearing is to hear evidence concerning and considering the adoption of an Ordinance annexing contiguous lands owned by 100% of the petitioning landowners into the Town of Churubusco. The public hearing is open to all and all those interested in the annexation will have an opportunity to testify at the hearing as to the proposed annexation.
The area proposed for annexation is generally described as the contiguous area southeast of the intersection at N 800 E and E 550 N. More specifically, the proposed annexation is for parcel numbers: 92-04-14-000-106.000-009, 92-04-14-000-101.000-010, 92-04-11-000-201.000-010, 92-04-11-000-212.000-009, 92-04-14-000-106.001-009, and 92-04-14-107-100.000-009. The complete file on this annexation and a copy of the proposed ordinance and fiscal plan will be available for review between 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday in the Clerk’s Office, 204 N. Line Street, Churubusco, IN 46723.
