NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE 2019-05: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RESPONSIBILITY FOR UTILITY ACCOUNTS FOR THE TOWN OF CHURUBUSCO
Interested parties served by Churubusco Utilities are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2019-05, requiring landlords/rental property owners to keep utility accounts in their names for account changes occurring after July 1, 2019, was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council held on May 1, 2019 and a public hearing held on May 15, 2019, where the ordinance was tabled for further discussion. Further discussion of this ordinance will occur at the regular Town Council meeting occurring June 19, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., local time, at the Town Hall, 215 Home Avenue, Churubusco, Indiana. Interested parties may speak during the public comments section at the beginning of the meeting.
The complete text of proposed Ordinance No. 2019-05 is on file and available for examination and copying at the office of the Town’s Clerk-Treasurer at 204 N. Line Street, Churubusco, Indiana, during regular business hours, and will be available at the public hearing.
