RESOLUTION NO. 2023-12
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL FOR THE TOWN OF CHURUBUSCO, INDIANA, APPROVING THE CHURUBUSCO PLAN COMMISSION ORDER
(Turtle Meadows Residential Housing Program)
WHEREAS, the Churubusco Redevelopment Commission (the “Redevelopment Commission”) previously adopted a Declaratory Resolution No. 2022-11-7 on November 7, 2022, (the “Declaratory Resolution”) establishing a residential housing development program (the “Program”); designating the Allocation Area Turtle Meadows (the “Allocation Area”); and approving a redevelopment plan for the Program designated as the “Turtle Meadows Residential Housing Development Plan” (the “Plan”); and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Commission submitted the Declaratory Resolution to the Churubusco Plan Commission (the “Plan Commission”) for its approval pursuant to IC 36 7-14-16(a); and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 2023, the Plan Commission issued its order (attached hereto) approving the Declaratory Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council for the Town of Churubusco, Indiana, as follows:
1. The Town Council hereby approves the Plan, hereby approves the order of the Plan Commission approving the Declaratory Resolution, and approves the Allocation Area and Plan.
2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Town Council as required by law.
