The Town of Churubusco and the Churubusco Chamber of Commerce are proud to be collaborating once again for Halloweenfest! The event has continued to grow and we anticipate the same this year. The event will once again be held the Saturday before Halloween, Saturday, October 28th, and it is sure to be a day full of fun!
The Churubusco Chamber will again be holding a Chamber Trick-or-Treat event from noon until 2. Area businesses will be dressed up and passing out candy throughout town. The Town of Churubusco will also be sponsoring free hayrides beginning at noon, departing from the St. John Bosco parking lot. Maps of participating businesses will be available at the Town’s tent near the Catholic Church. Last year we had over thirty businesses and organizations participating and we anticipate just as many (but probably more!) participating this year! A huge THANK YOU to all of this year’s sponsors- Town of Churubusco, Churubusco Chamber, Michelle’s, Gross Drainage, Jill’s Vintage & Thrift, Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, McDonalds, Brady’s Auto Service, C&A Tool, and K&K Video. Without them, this event would not be possible!
After the Chamber Trick-or-Treat, visit the Churubusco Elementary Gym and enter the costume contest! Registration will begin at 2:45 pm, with judging starting at 3:15. Numerous prizes will be awarded in a variety of age categories. Freebies will also be given away. The day concludes with town wide trick-or-treat hours from 4-7 pm.
The day is sure to be a great time! Please tell your friends and family to visit ‘Busco for this event!
