Meeting Minutes – July 21st, 2021
The Churubusco Town Council met on July 21st, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Scout Building. Members present were Council Members Devin Keener and Mark Pepple and Deputy Clerk, Natalie Blessing. Also in attendance were Dustin Papenbrock, Town Marshal; Jeremy Hart, Town Supervisor; and Rachel Hartman, KPC News.
Council Member Mark Pepple called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was done by Deputy Clerk, Natalie Blessing. Council President Nathan Van Horn and Clerk-Treasurer Madalyn Sade-Bartl were absent.
Approval of Claims and Payroll Vouchers:
Claims Vouchers dated for July 21st, 2021 in the amount of $182083.44 were presented. Motion to approve by Council Member Mark Pepple and second by Council Member Devin Keener. 2-0

Old Business:
1. Ordinance 2021-09: An Ordinance Designating Clingerman Avenue & Line Street a Three-Way Stop.
There were no objections to the ordinance. Council Member Mark Pepple made a motion to approve, second by Council Member Devin Keener. Ordinance was approved 2-0 and signed by the present Council Members.
New Business:
There was no new business.
Department Reports:
Jeremy Hart, Town Supervisor
Mr. Hart had nothing new to report.
Bob Gray, Waste Water Treatment Plan Supervisor
Mr. Gray was not present.
Dustin Papenbrock, Town Marshal
Mr. Papenbrock was present and reported nothing new other than the continuing construction and traffic on US 33 and SR 205.
Rick Krider, Park Superintendent
Mr. Krider was not present.
Council Reports:
President Nathan Van Horn:
Mr. Van Horn was not present.
Mark Pepple:
Mr. Pepple did not have anything to report.
Devin Keener:
Mr. Keener asked Town Supervisor, Jeremy Hart, what would happen to the sewage while they are replacing the concrete during construction. Mr. Hart advised that what they are replacing should not affect the sewage operations, but it will be diverted if necessary.
Madalyn Sade-Bartl:
Ms. Sade-Bartl was not present.
Having no other business and after all proper papers were signed, Mr. Pepple adjourned the meeting.
