Halloweenfest!

‘Busco is about to get spooky on October 27! Halloweenfest is back and better than ever! The Town, Chamber, and Turtle Days are all teaming up to provide a fun filled day for your little ghouls and goblins.

Turtle Days will be sponsoring a pumpkin decorating contest with a grand prize of $100! Drop your pumpkin off to the Turtle Days booth in front of Ranney’s during the Chamber trick-or-treat! Turtle Days will also be selling chili and hot dogs at their booth starting at 11 a.m.

The Chamber Trick-or-Treat begins at 12 p.m. Grab a map of all the participants at the Town’s booth located in front of St. John Bosco Church. While you’re there, hop on the free hayride! It will be running from 12 to 2.

After the Chamber trick-or-treat, stick around downtown! Turtle Days will be hosting the annual costume contest on Washington Street next to Ranney’s. They will be giving away tons of prizes in a variety of categories and it is open to everyone! Costume judging begins at 2:45.

Finally, the day ends with the town wide trick-or-treat starting at 5 p.m. Knock on doors and score some treats until 7 p.m. Don’t forget to go to the Nazarene Church and the old fire station when you’re out and about!

Halloweenfest is sponsored by the Town of Churubusco, Churubusco Chamber of Commerce, Turtle Days Association, H&R Block, K&K Video, Turtle Town Dental, C&A Tool, Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, and Churubusco Public Library.
